On February 28, 2011 more than 50 local leaders gathered together to discuss how to prevent youth homelessness in our community. The Miami Coalition for the Homeless convened the meeting to bring together advocates and experts in child welfare, shelter/ housing, law enforcement, public health, education, and supportive services. The law firm of Greenberg Traurig generously hosted the discussion. Stay tuned for more detailed reports from the meeting, and for information about future events.
